At the last New Hyde Park/Garden City Park School Board meeting the board agreed to have board president Lawrence Montreuil sign a contract with the Town of North Hempstead Department of Parks and Recreation.

The agreement, one that has been a longtime in negotiation, was to store buses at the Michael J. Tully Park facility, off Evergreen Avenue, New Hyde Park. The school board and the town board were still working out the matter of electrical charges and once that is settled the New Hyde Park/Garden City Park School buses will move to that location for storage.
