The New Hyde Park/Garden City Park School Board voted to put a $20 million bond referendum up for vote by the public sometime in early spring as a result of the recommendation by the 30 members of the Space Utilization Committee. Closing out another terrific season, the NHP Special Soccer program wound up its season on a crisp, cold fall morning with a spirited parents vs. players contest. While the officiating was questionable, luckily it did not have an impact on the outcome of this hard-fought game. FULL STORY

The Merillon Challengers Program Young Adult Softball team finished its fall season with a 15 to 13 loss in the third game with the Nassau County Special Olympic team, giving the Merillon team a record of 1 win; 1 loss and 1 tie in its inaugural season. FULL STORY
