New Hyde Park Board to Propose a $20 Million Bond
The New Hyde Park/Garden City Park School Board voted to put a $20 million bond referendum up for vote by the public sometime in early spring as a result of the recommendation by the 30 members of the Space Utilization Committee. The board vote was unanimous except for trustee Suzanne Wenz who was not present until the very end of the meeting.

New Hyde Park Wildcats Soccer Roundup
Closing out another terrific season, the NHP Special Soccer program wound up its season on a crisp, cold fall morning with a spirited parents vs. players contest. While the officiating was questionable, luckily it did not have an impact on the outcome of this hard-fought game.

Merillon Challenger Young Adult Team
The Merillon Challengers Program Young Adult Softball team finished its fall season with a 15 to 13 loss in the third game with the Nassau County Special Olympic team, giving the Merillon team a record of 1 win; 1 loss and 1 tie in its inaugural season.
