James G. McGrath, formerly of Williston Park, died on Oct. 1, 2000. He was ex-chief of the Williston Park Fire Dept. and a member of Williston Park American Legion Post #144 and the Shelter Rock Rifle and Pistol Club. Father of William, James, John, Michael and the late Margaret. Grandfather of seven. Arrangements were made by the Weigand Bros. Funeral Home, Williston Park. Funeral Mass at St. Aidan's RC Church. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery. Loretta A. Baumbach (nee Smith), of Williston Park, died on Oct. 2, 2000. She was a member of the Rosary Altar Society, Catholic Daughters and a Parish Outreach driver coordinator at St. Aidan's Church, a member of the Williston Park Senior Citizens and a volunteer at St. Francis Hospital. Wife of the late Frank. Mother of Debra Conway, Richard Gerard and Ronald Baumbach. Mother-in-law of Ed, Diane, Elaine and Christine. Grandmother of Douglas, Elisa, Jason, Matt, Dan, Jim, Kevin, Ryan, Kaitlin, Eddie and Tiffany. Great-grandmother of Gabriel and Meg. Arrangements were made by the Weigand Bros. Funeral Home, Williston Park. Funeral Mass at St. Aidan's RC Church. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery. Contributions can be made to St. Aidan's Parish Outreach or St. Francis Hospital.
