Calling themselves "Strawberry Fields Group" an amazing group of musicians arrived at New Hyde Park Memorial Park for the first concert of the season sponsored by Maspeth Savings Band. Last week, shortly after the resignation of Joseph Connelly as the Mayor of Williston Park, due to the heavy constraints of his full-time job with the City of New York, the Williston Park Village Board voted unanimously to appoint Deputy Mayor Doreen Ehrbar as mayor, thus making her the first woman to hold that office in the Village of Williston Park.
