Bond Referendum Options Discussed
In an effort to save $3 million dollars and perhaps even more, from the $36 million outlined in bond Option No. 1, approved by the board and by the School Reconfiguration Committee, Herricks school board trustee Keith DiMarco suggested that no stage improvements be made for any of the elementary schools or the high school, but rather that the Community Center auditorium be air conditioned and all cultural arts programs be held in the Community Center throughout the year.

New Hyde Park Little League Donates $7000 for Sprinkler System
Trustee Richard Coppola announced, at the last New Hyde Park Village Board meeting, that the New Hyde Park Little League has donated $7000 to the village to install sod and a sprinkler system at Memorial Park on Lincoln Boulevard.
