At the last meeting of the New Hyde Park Village Board members of the New Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce President David Goodsell and Ron Ferrara, representing the Businessmen on the Turnpike were present to ask the board to cover the meters on the turnpike during the holidays thereby making it easier to park near local shops for the holidays.
