Newly elected president of the Parks Civic Association Jim McHugh opened the meeting by drawing lots for the candidates' both opening and closing statements including North Hempstead Town Councilpersons Anthony D'Urso and Doreen Banks and Council candidates Robert Lozaro and Warren Brinker.
