Bruce Fleisher, in the midst of a stellar rookie year on the Senior PGA Tour, fired a one over par 73 in the final round to win the 1999 Lightpath Long Island Classic at the Meadow Brook Club in Jericho. Fleisher, who won for the fifth time this year, survived a two stroke penalty for improperly marking his ball on the final hole to finish with a 54 hole total of 206, 10 strokes under par.
