On March 16, the residents of Williston Park went to the polls and elected me to a one year term as village trustee. To those individuals and to those who signed petitions, wrote letters, spoke or delivered flyers on my behalf, I extend my thanks.

In a recent article in this newspaper, I indicated that Williston Park is a very special place to live. It is so special because of its residents and their willingness to sacrifice for one another so that all might enjoy their surroundings.

I look forward to the year ahead, working with Mayor Joseph Connelly and the entire village board and especially with you, the residents!
