As a lifelong Williston Park resident, I urge all voters to vote for Ray Cross for village trustee on March 16. When I first learned that Ray would be running for the vacated trustee position, my initial reaction was, "What took so long?" Having known Ray for a number of years and having worked side by side with Ray on a number of recreational projects, I can honestly say that I have never met a more concerned and able advocate for the residents that he represents. In these times when our trust in our elected officials is severely tested, Ray Cross represents what is good and honorable about public service. His lifelong dedication to the residents of the Town of North Hempstead has given him the keen insight needed to address the desires and wants of his constituents. Ray's attention to detail and his genuine concern for those that he serves can only help make him one of the finer public servants that Williston Park has known.
