Serving the public in any capacity and assuming the burdens and responsibilities which are placed on the individual is not something to which the average person aspires.
There is one person, however, besides his main concern of family, who works endless hours behind the scenes and is able to manage simultaneous tasks to help the community and that is our close friend Ray Cross who is running for re-election to village trustee in the upcoming Williston Park Village election on March 16th.
We have known Ray for more than 26 years and during that time he has always been concerned with the village and its growth, community issues, local public affairs, raising children in a safe environment and the needs of the senior citizen population.
Cross always steps back and examines the way things are done and if there is a more efficient or expedient path to achieve the same successful results, then he finds it.
Whether Ray is coaching Little League or soccer, organizing the St. Aidans 5 K Run or as a village trustee this past year, he always demonstrates his endless energy, diligence and ability to "get the job done."
We urge you to support Ray Cross for Williston Park Village Trustee and return a dedicated leader to the board who will help guide the village into the year 2000.
