At the outset of the last Herricks School Board meeting quite a few of the members of Herricks DECA (Distributive Educational Clubs of America) were on hand, along with advisor Edward Rothar, to receive trophies for the many awards they brought home as a result of the last DECA competition. The New Hyde Park Little League has announced that Feb. 13, between the hours of 10 a.m. to noon, will be the last day to register for the 1999 Baseball/Softball season.
