Children's Theater to Present The Prince Who Would Not Talk
At the last New Hyde Park Village Board meeting it was announced that the Children's Theater, under the direction of Marilyn McClean, will present The Prince Who Would Not Talk on Jan. 16 and 17 at 2 p.m. in Marcus Christ Hall, adjacent to New Hyde Park Village Hall, Jericho Turnpike and New Hyde Park Road.

Work Continues on Four-Way Turn at Willis/Hillside
Williston Park Village Mayor Joseph Connelly announced at the last village board meeting that work is continuing on the four-way turn signal at the intersection of Willis and Hillside Avenues. Mayor Connelly explained that the job is more complicated than expected, but it will be worth the inconvenience if it saves just one life.

Do you remember where you were 40 years ago? Were you old enough to remember? Or are you too old to remember? Anyway, 40 years ago, Little League Baseball came into existence in New Hyde Park. To celebrate New Hyde Park Little League 40th Anniversary, the Little League will organize a gala parade on April 10, 1999.
