St. Peters 35 - Notre Dame 31

Bulldogs of Notre Dame fell short by the score of 35-31 at the Notre Dame gym.

The boys never stopped fighting, outscoring the St. Peters team by 18-14 in the second half. Steven Bartoloni had a great game, grabbing many offensive rebounds and getting fouled on his shots, scoring three points.

John Amico scored eight points on smooth shots and strong rebounding. James Ort was all over the court on offense and defense and added six points in great outside shooting. Jonathan Laserinko played great defense and just missed on his shots. Brian Ernst scored three points and played great defense on the press stealing the ball many times. Ricky Cinelli scored three points on great hustle, out muscling the other teams for loose balls.

Craig Losi played strong defense and great rebounding on the offensive boards, just missing his shots. Michael Graham scored four points and could have had more, but unselfishly made great passes to put his teammates in great scoring position. Steve Humburg guarded the other team's best player and held him to one point. Humburg also added two points on a perfect shot. Steven Diolallevi played his best game ever, getting a lot of rebounds and scoring two points. Diolallevi just missed two more baskets when the ball went in and out of the basket. No one ever leaves our games early because of the great effort of the team.
