Walter E. Stein, 89, of New Hyde Park, died on Nov. 11, 1998. Member of Local 3 IBEW for 70 years. Husband of the late Margaret. Father of Richard and Jane Stein and Diane and William Wilson. Grandfather of Richard Jr., Susan, Michael and Mary, James and Debbie, Paul and Lorraine Stein, Wayne and Cathy, Russell and the late Dennis Wilson. Great-grandfather of Kristen, Kelly, Kerianne, Craig, Kimberly, Meagan, Matthew, Mollie, Natalie, Douglas and Sofia. Brother of Edward, Hazel Overton and Robert. Brother-in-law of Dave and Lillian Neumann and Edward and Marguerite Kovacs. Arrangements were made by the New Hyde Park Funeral Home.
