I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Illustrated News for participating in our annual Children's Halloween parade.

Marching in a parade, receiving prizes and having refreshments are always fun for the children. Our children's happiness and well-being always has and always will be my number one priority.

As Elks we take this opportunity to distribute our Drug Awareness Coloring Books and "Working Toward a Drug Free Community" ribbons. This helps instill morals and a sense of right and wrong in our children. Your attendance is proof that you feel the same and that you lead by example.

All of this helps preserve the integrity of our community and shows that New Hyde Park will always be a great place to raise a family.
