Angela Conetta, 69, of Albertson, died on Oct. 16, 1998. Born in Settefratti, Italy, she worked as a seamstress in a garment factory. Wife of the late Leonardo. Mother of Antoinette Conetta-Tar, Gina Buzzeo and Philip. Grandmother of of two. Arrangements were made by the Edward Guida Funeral Home, Corona, Queens. Funeral Mass at St. Leo RC Church. Interment St. Charles Cemetery. Donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Foundation. Francis J. "Frank" Deesing, 76, of Albertson, died on Oct. 19, 1998. He was water commissioner of Albertson, a foreman for the Town of N. Hempstead, committeeman for the Albertson Republican Club, VFW All NYS past commander, and a member of VFW Post #5253 Albertson, Williston Park American Legion Post #144 and the St. Aidan's Holy Name Society.
