At the last Williston Park Village Board meeting, the board amended the dog law to give enforcement rights to not only the Code Enforcement officers of the village, but to any Nassau County police officer as well. So, if anyone walks his/her dog and does not observe the "curb your dog" or the "pooper/scooper" law of the village, and is observed by a law enforcement officer they will be issued an Appearance Ticket returnable to the village court for a fine.
