Last week we learned of the tragic, untimely death of Linda Steel's beautiful daughter, Michelle Brey, who left behind three wonderful and very small sons ages 9, 7 and 5.

Linda Steel is the invaluable secretary of Herricks School Board Superintendent Dr. Sidney Freund and she will now assume joint custody of those three boys, her grandsons.

There has been a college scholarship fund set up for the boys and anyone wishing to may send a contribution to The Brey Fund, P.O. Box 211, Malverne, New York 11565.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Linda and her entire family at this very sad and difficult time.
