Albert Hindin, 78, a retired dentist from New Hyde Park, died on Sept. 19, 1998. Born in NYC, he graduated from Stuyvesant High School and St. John's School of Pharmacy. He served in the Army, remained in the active reserves and served in Korea where he was in charge of a mobile hospital. He received the Bronze Star. Mr. Hindin worked as a pharmacist and later graduated from NYU Dental School. He received the Mr. Ringer Award given to outstanding dental students. He had dental practices in West Hempstead and Garden City Park. Mr. Hindin was a lifetime member of the NC and NYS American dental societies. He is survived by his wife Phyllis; his daughter Bettina Hertz; and one grandson. Arrangements were made by Riverside-Nassau North Chapel, Great Neck. Interment Mt. Ararat Cemetery.

Sister of Juanita, Carmen, Rita and Julie. Grandmother of 10. Arrangements were made by the R. Stutzman & Son Funeral Home. Funeral Mass at Notre Dame RC Church. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery.
