As we prepare for our 40th season or 20th year, let us all reflect on the Wildcats' tradition and pride. Many thousands of boys and girls have gone thru our program and many thousands to come.

Please be mindful that when you're on a soccer field, that property must be left in mint condition. Pick up all cups, napkins, bags, orange peels, drinks, etc. Coaches keep a trash bag in your equipment for clean-up. Please do not block anyone's driveway; park on grass or double park.

Coaches, MUST, at all times carry permits for fields whether it's for game or practice. If anyone is in a field without a permit, that constitutes trespassing and that coach/es will be dealt with accordingly. Please read permits carefully: location, time and dates.

Reservations for our 20th Annual Dinner Dance can be made by calling Annette Giarratani, 437-9149, or Gerry Kassoff, 746-7267. $95 per couple, New Hyde Park Inn, Friday, Nov. 6, 8 p.m.-1 a.m.

Saturday, Sept. 26, visit the Wildcats' table at the NHP Village Street Fair.

The New Hyde Park Wildcats' Special Soccer Program is ready to begin its fall season on Saturday, Sept. 12. Our program is entering its seventh glorious year! NHP's recognition in the Long Island soccer community received a huge boost by hosting a most successful tournament last fall.

Registration is now open. Please obtain an application and return it before Sept. 12 to: Richard Bletsch, 1652 West End Avenue, New Hyde Park, NY 11040.

Due to the continuing efforts of the Annual Golf Outing Committee and supporters, sufficient money is raised each year to enable us to offer this program at no fee.

Practices are held every Saturday morning from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Center Street field.

If you know of anyone who would like to participate, or come down to lend a helping hand, please call Richard Bletsch at 328-3043.

See you all on Sept. 12.
