William Dillon Hannigan, of New Hyde Park and Lake Panamoka, NY, died on Aug. 2, 1998. He was retired from Grumman and a member of the New Hyde Park Elks Lodge. Husband of Marguerite (nee Seip). Interment Holy Rood Cemetery. Patricia Wittbecker, 77, of New Hyde Park, died on Aug. 6, 1998. Born in Aberdeen, SD, she grew up in Fergus Falls, MN. She received her bachelor's and master's degrees in nursing at the University of Minnesota. She married Hy Turner in 1946 and they were divorced in 1965. Ms. Wittbecker worked as an administrative supervisor and later as a clinical supervisor at Nassau County Medical Center retiring in 1996. She is survived by her children, Diane Schrier, Susan Turner, Paul Turner and Mark Turner; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Interment and services were held at Oakgrove Cemetery, Fergus Falls. Donations can be made to the North Shore Animal League, Lewyt St., Port Washington, NY 11050. Stanley Jenik, of Melbourne Beach, FL formerly of New Hyde Park, died on Aug. 13, 1998. Husband of Lena. Father of Leonard, Warren and Brian. Grandfather of four. Son of Lillian, Brother of Alice. He was an attorney who served the Floral Park community and a member of the Knights of Columbus Council, American Legion Post and VFW Post of Floral Park. Husband of Jane F. Mosior-Delaney.
