The New Hyde Park Lady Bengals reached the semi-finals at the Region I Tournament in Erie, PA. They won their first three games shutting out their opponents with six goals and 0 against. They lost in the semi-finals to the Bethesda Scorpions from Maryland. However, the Lady Bengals are now ranked among the top 16 teams in U-16 bracket in the USA.

Congratulations to the Lady Bengals for being ranked among the nation's best and for capturing this year's U-16 triple crown.

The Lady Bengals will be holding tryouts this Friday, July 17, at 6 p.m. and Sunday, July 19, at 4:30 at New Hyde Park Memorial HS. If anyone is interested in trying out, call either Marty Hearney at 935-0390 or Ray Savidge at 775-6994.

Battlecats will be holding a car wash on Saturday, July 25, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Lakeville Road and Jericho Turnpike. Please come and support the team.
