Crime Stoppers and the Nassau County Police Department are seeking the public's help in identifying and locating the person responsible for committing a robbery in New Hyde Park.

On Feb. 19 at about 9:40 a.m. a male entered the Key Bank, 350 Hillside Avenue. He approached a teller and slid a demand note under the teller's window. He then passed the teller a supermarket type black plastic bag. The teller placed cash in the bag and handed it back to the subject. The subject fled southbound on Hillside Boulevard, got into a black 4-door auto, older model square shaped with New York license plates.

The subject is described as a male white, 24-34-years-old, five feet, eight inches tall with a medium build. He was wearing a blue jacket, blue pants and a dark baseball cap.

All calls to the toll-free number, 1-800-244-TIPS, are anonymous and callers do not have to reveal their identity or testify in court. Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of this subject.
