The Gray Wig, Hofstra University's Alumni Repertory Theater, presents the Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber Tony Award winning musical Jesus Christ Superstar at 8 p.m. Appearing in the production will be Brad Barth, a Herricks High School graduate, who is also the editor of the Syosset/Jericho Tribune, an Anton Community Newspaper. Informational Meeting re: Garden City Park Industrial Area
At the Mineola High School auditorium, 10 Armstrong Road, Garden City Park, at 7:30 p.m. the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYDEC) and the New York State Department of Health will hold a public informational meeting to discuss the environmental investigation of the Fulton Avenue site and nearby sites. The DEC will shortly be initiating an Interim Remedial Measure to address the contaminated soil, which is the major source of nearby ground water contamination.
