Town to Hold Star Application Help Day

North Hempstead Town Supervisor May Newburger and Receiver of Taxes Ann Galante have announced a Star Application Help Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Receiver of Taxes Office, 200 Plandome Road, Manhasset. Staff members will be available to provide information and to help seniors complete their applications. Seniors must have necessary paperwork and copy of their deed, proof of age and residency and all 1996 earning statements. Wrap-O-Mania

Big Grey Concert to Benefit Make-a-Wish Foundation

The New Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce will hold its Annual Holiday Party at the New Hyde Park Inn, 214 Jericho Turnpike, New Hyde Park.
