The new Sleepy's World Headquarters' is almost ready to open for business but is the community ready for Sleepy's?

As noted in our earlier reports, the new Sleepy's World Headquarters, located between New South Road and South Oyster Bay Road, will open within the next month. Our town, county and state representatives have agreed that a traffic study will begin in May to define what can be done with the area just south of the new Sleepy's development better known to the community as the five corners. We believe the added traffic congestion from Lowes, Sleepy's, Lunar Moduals and the Grumman development will bring our communities traffic to a standstill and the community respectfully requests that something be done.

We look forward to receiving an update from the town, county and state as to who will be doing the study and when the study will begin. As always the Hicksville Gardens Civic Association will keep you all posted as things develop.
