Peggy Coffey Taxer, of Hicksville, died on Jan. 21, 2009. Wife of the late James (former Hicksville Fire Department commissioner). Mother of Valerie Coffey-Carlson and Ronald Coffey. Mother-in-law of Greg and Carmen. Sister of Marion Pierson and the late David and Ronald Richardson. Grandmother of Raymond, Roland and Roderick Coffey. The family was cared for by the Thomas F. Dalton Funeral Home, Hicksville Chapel. Memorial Mass at St. Ignatius RC Church.
