The Hicksville Unit of the Nassau County Police Activity League (PAL) will hold registration Monday, Jan. 12 and Wednesday, Jan. 14 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, Jan. 17 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Registration will take place at the PAL office trailer located in the west parking field of National Grid (entrance gate off Old Country Road opposite Park Avenue in Hicksville). A parent/guardian must be present at all registrations.
Registration for the following sports will take place:
Boys: 3rd through 6th grades (during 2008-2009 school year)
Girls: 3rd through 8th grades (during 2008-2009 school year)
Boys: 7th and 8th grade team
Girls: 7th and 8th grade team
All lacrosse registrants must bring a copy of their birth certificate to registration even if your child has registered before. In addition, PAL will no longer issue personal lacrosse equipment.
* Please note, this will be the final registration for lacrosse.
Boys/Girls: Ages 6 to 14
Five-week session at the Town of Oyster Bay Golf Course in Woodbury
Boys/Girls: Ages 5 to 18
Six-week program at Bethpage Park Stables; $180 for six, half-hour lessons held Thursdays or Fridays at 4 p.m.
Boys: Ages 6 to 14
Girls: Ages 6 to 15
Boys/Girls (mixed teams): Ages 8 to 14
Boys/Girls: Ages 8 to 18
Boys/Girls: Ages 9 to 18
