James A. Skelly, of Hicksville, died on Sept. 18, 2008. He was retired from UPS. Beloved husband of Deborah. Loving father of Jimmy R. (Jen), Dave and Memphis. Caring son of Olive and Floyd and the late James A. Cherished brother of Lois Maddi, Dorothy (Tim) Dzienius and Barbara (Glenn) Schell and many foster sisters. Treasured uncle of eight nieces and two nephews. Adored nephew of many aunts and uncles and countless friends. The family was cared for by the Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Home with a military burial in Calverton National Cemetery.
