In response to Tom Clark's letter to the editor in the June 20, 2008 edition of the Hicksville Illustrated News, please know that I applaud his suggestion to open Landia Station in Syosset.

The traffic situation in Hicksville is serious and has a detrimental effect on many who live in this town. It is time for our elected representatives to take Mr. Clark's proposal into serious consideration before going ahead with any plans to rebuild a larger parking garage in Hicksville.
