The Hicksville Unit of the Nassau County Police Activity League (PAL) will hold registration for the spring 2008 season on Monday, May 12 and Wednesday, May 14 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, May 17 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Registration will take place at the PAL office trailer located in the west parking field of KeySpan Energy (entrance gate off Old Country Road opposite Park Avenue in Hicksville). A parent/guardian must be present at registration. Registration for the following sports will take place at this time:

Grades 1 to 7

Grades 8-12: Wood bat - local travel/intramural

Ages 6 to 14 Boys/Girls: Ages 5 to 8 Ages 6 to 14 At the TOB Golf Course, Woodbury; 6 to 7 p.m. or 7:15 to 8:15 p.m. $80. Ages 5-18 Boys/Girls: Ages 8-18 Boys/Girls: Ages 9-18 Ages 6 to 16 Boys/Girls (mixed teams): Ages 8 to 14

Boys/Girls: Ages 4 to 18

* This is the final registration for baseball and softball.

** Boys lacrosse equipment will be available to borrow; everyone must have their own stick.

*** Horseback riding at Bethpage Park Stables: $180 for 6 half-hour lessons. Thursdays or Fridays at 4 p.m., 4:30 p.m. or 5 p.m.

**** Bowling registration will take place at Plainview Bowl, Old Bethpage Road and Old Country Road in Plainview, 433-9595.
