Hicksville resident Jeremy Grand, 27, will be displaying a variety of his artwork, including photography, digital illustrations and mixed media, at the Bayville Free Library throughout the month of April. Grand's exhibit is part of the Town of Oyster Bay's 34th Annual Rotational Art Exhibit program.
A lifelong resident of Hicksville, Grand graduated from Hicksville High School in 1999 and went on to earn a bachelor of fine arts from SUNY Purchase. Grand said he gets his artistic inspiration from "nature, things people say in passing, the human body, personal issues and doodles on scrap papers." He added, "I save every little drawing I make in times of boredom and a lot of times I utilize them in a piece."
