George W. Greer, 80, of Hicksville, died on Feb. 21, 2008. A member of St. Stephen's Lutheran Church, he was a Free and Accepted Mason for 50 years and a member of Manetto Brook Hollis Lodge #992. He was a Sunday school superintendent at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Glendale for many years before moving to Hicksville in 1968. Husband of Beatrice. Father of Geoffrey and Allison. Grandfather of Mark and Jennifer. Brother of Edward. Arrangements were made by the Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Home. Memorial service at 11 a.m. on March 1 at St. Stephen's Lutheran Church. Donations may be made to St. Stephen's Lutheran Church in his memory.
