The sixth, seventh and eighth grade physical education classes at St. Ignatius Loyola School have concluded their flag football unit. The excitement of the competition was only surpassed by the students' enthusiasm. All of the students learned the basic skills of football and competed in games during their physical education classes. The unit culminated with class playoffs and a "super" game. After the final whistle blew, a class champion was declared.
The sixth grade champ was the Eagles, including Captain Carlos Lizama, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Mackenize Klein, David Lavan, Joseph Matthew, Heidy Taza, Wade Walker and Decin Younghans.
The seventh grade champ was also the Eagles, including Captain Max Spettman, Armelle Charles, Erin Costello, Amy Katan, Andrew Kennedy, Thomas Stackpole and Meghan Whittaker.
