The Runner's Edge and Corporate Fitness recently presented Hicksville-based Team A Step Ahead with a check that will be used toward providing coaching services for two of their amputee athletes. Team A Step Ahead, which is comprised of amputee athletes representing a wide array of sports, including Triathletes Michael LaForgia and Tommy Koehler. Its mission is to give their patients the tools, information and resources necessary to allow them to live life without limitations.
