The Hicksville Unit of the Nassau County Police Activity League (PAL) will hold registration Monday, Oct. 22 and Wednesday, Oct. 24 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 27 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Registration will take place at the PAL office trailer located in the west parking field of KeySpan Energy (entrance gate off Old Country Road opposite Park Avenue in Hicksville). A parent/guardian must be present at registration. Registration for the following sports will take place at this time: Boys/Girls (mixed teams): Ages 8 to 14 - Final Registration Boys: Ages 6 to 12 Boys/Girls: Ages 8 to 18 Boys/Girls: Ages 9 to 18 Ages 6-14 (Town of Oyster Bay Golf Course, Woodbury)

Boys: 3rd through 6th grades (during 2007-2008 school year)

Girls: 3rd through 8th grades (during 2007-2008 school year)

All lacrosse registrants must bring a copy of their birth certificate to registration. In addition, PAL will no longer issue personal lacrosse equipment.

Boys/Girls: Ages 4 to 18 Winter League begins September 2007 at Plainview Bowl; Summer League begins June 2008 at Plainview Bowl. Register at Plainview Bowl, Old Bethpage Road, 433-9595. Boys: Ages 6 to 14

Girls: Ages 6 to 14

Participation is stressed and trophies will be awarded to all participants.
