Central Nassau Guidance & Counseling Services, Inc. will host its Eighth Annual Golf Outing on Tuesday, Sept. 11 at the Town of Oyster Bay Golf Course in Woodbury. All net proceeds from the event support the organization's wide array of comprehensive community-based services for children, adolescents, adults and families coping with mental illness, chemical dependency and developmental disabilities.

In addition to 18 holes of golf, the Central Nassau Golf Outing includes brunch, buffet dinner, giveaways, silent auction, balloon prizes, and several grand prize raffles, including vacation getaways, spa treatments, and several Long Island Nightlife packages, which contain restaurant gift certificates, theater tickets, and more. Sponsors include M&T Bank, KAM Construction Services, Bethpage Federal Union and Southwest Airlines. As a special feature, PGA Golf Instructor Fred Moore will conduct a "Swing Analysis Clinic" at the driving range, and each golfer will receive a complimentary copy of Golf Swing Secrets ...and Lie compiled and written by golf pro Michael Hebron.

Central Nassau Guidance and Counseling Services, Inc. is a multipurpose, comprehensive, not-for-profit community organization whose mission is to provide clinical treatment, rehabilitation, housing opportunities, social and support services, counseling and guidance to individuals, families and the community affected by mental illness, development disabilities, addiction and/or chemical dependency problems.
