5th Annual Street Fair, a Fun-Filled Event
In the five years the Hicksville Chamber of Commerce has been hosting its street fair, 2007 was by far the biggest and the best. The weather was a major factor in adding to the enjoyment of those attending. With temperatures in the mid-80s and a pleasant breeze it made for a perfect day in the park. What a treat for families with young children!

TOB Honoring Veterans at 'Salute to America' July 31
The Town of Oyster Bay's first annual Veterans Volunteer Awards will take place on Tuesday, July 31 at John J. Burns Park Town in Massapequa, as part of the "Salute to America" concert, according to Oyster Bay Supervisor John Venditto.

Cantiague Park Senior Men's Golf League
Today started out to be very foggy. You could not even see the green from the first tee. But just as we started to play, a little breeze came up and the fog blew away. The scores were a little better today with 18 men out of 42 shooting net par or less. We had 31 pars with Lou Rezoagli and Joe Magee each getting four.
