Florence T. Ruf, 74, of Port Richey, FL, formerly of Hicksville, died on June 30, 2007. She was born Nov. 26, 1932, daughter of the late Charles Gogel and Margaret Gebhardt. She worked for the European American Bank, ABN Amro Bank. She was a former Rosarian of the Holy Family Church Rosary Altar Society, former chairperson of the Fork Lane School PTA book sale. She was a communicant of St. Michael's RC Church in Port Richey and past parishioner of Holy Family RC Church. Beloved wife of the late Harold Palmer and the late Fred L. Ruf. Loving mother of Harold Palmer of Port Richey, Michael Palmer of Hicksville, Kathleen Palmer of Port Richey, Fred J. (Theresa) Ruf of Kendall Park, NJ, Regina (David) Orelli of Huntington, Theresa (Wayne) Soderlund of Hicksville. Devoted grandmother of 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Alice (Al) Schock of Hicksville. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Arrangements were made by the Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Home, Hicksville. Funeral Mass at Holy Family RC Church. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery.
