Hicksville PAL held it's 4th Annual Kevin Kolm Memorial Lacrosse Day May 5. It turned out to be a beautiful day filled with fun, food, raffles and great lacrosse. The Hicksville PAL lacrosse teams all played, as well as did Hicksville, Plainview High School and Holy Trinity High Schools varsity lacrosse teams. In addition, the day included a PAL girls lacrosse clinic conducted by the Hicksville High School Girls Varsity Lacrosse Team.

Tom and Jackie Kolm, parents of the late Corporal Kevin Kolm, along with his sister, Christine, presented scholarship checks to Kevin Myers, Shawn McKenna and Anthony Geslak, the recipients of this year's Kevin Kolm Memorial Scholarship. Oyster Bay Town Councilman Rose Marie Walker gave a touching speech and presented the Kolms with a town commendation.

Hicksville PAL would like to thank all the volunteers who gave so much time and effort to making this day such a great success, including the girls and coaches of the varsity lacrosse team; the boys officials; Michael Rooney and Michael Cerlini for donating their game fees back to the scholarship fund; chefs Steve Rooney and Bob McKenna; the food and raffle sellers; and all the parents of the PAL lacrosse players for their very generous donations.
