The Hicksville Unit of the Nassau County Police Activity League (PAL) will hold registration for the spring 2007 season on Saturday, May 12 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Registration will take place at the PAL office trailer located in the west parking field of KeySpan Energy (entrance gate off Old Country Road opposite Park Avenue in Hicksville). The warm weather brought out the men but it did not do much for our scores. We had 47 men play and we only had six men shoot par of less. There were only 35 pars in the group and Dan McCann got five and Jerry Skaee got four of them. That leaves 26 pars among the other 45 golfers. But we did have a birdie from Sevald Knudson on the 200-yard, par 3, 4th hole, and we had a very enjoyable round. FULL STORY
