James Robert Strejlau, of Bethpage, died unexpectedly at age 50 on March 29, 2007. He leaves behind two children, Christopher James and Allison Rose, in the care of their maternal grandparents, Anni and Manfred Rose of Hicksville, and his former wife, Janet Strejlau. He is survived by his sister, Cathy Stewart (Mike), brother Robert Strejlau, nephews Gavin and Brogan Stewart of Bethpage. He was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Patricia. He is also survived by his aunts and uncle: Alice and Jack Scala, Mary Brogan and the late James, Barbara and the late Richard Strejlau, Dee Strejlau and the late Thomas, along with many cousins. James served in the U.S. Air Force (1977-1981). Arrangements were made by Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc. Services were held at the funeral home with interment April 10 at Calverton National Cemetery. Donations in James' name may be sent to a trust fund for his children which has been established at B.F.C.U. (or contact Anni Rose).
Frances M. Kenna, of Hicksville, died on April 9, 2007. Wife of the late Joseph D. Mother of John, Christine Moeller, Joseph and Suzanne Johnson. Grandmother of eight. Sister of Edith Schubert. Arrangements were made by Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral Mass was held April 11 at St. Martin of Tours RC Church with interment following at Calverton National Cemetery.
