Railroad Museum Equipment Moves into Hicksville
Earlier this week, the historic rail cars owned by the Oyster Bay Railroad Museum were relocated from their long time storage location of Mitchel Field in Garden City to a new location just east of the Hicksville station on the Long Island Rail Road's Main Line. This move was performed in order to make room for the Ringling Brothers Circus train which is coming to Long Island March 13. The Hicksville location was selected due to its availability and relative inaccessibility by vandals. The cars, which can be seen only from passing Ronkonkoma trains between Bethpage and Hicksville stations, join two others owned by the Railroad Museum of Long Island and also stored at this location.

Schweitzer Finishes First at Towson U's Gymnastics Invitational
Hicksville's Jackie Schweitzer, a freshman at Towson University, finished first in the all-around competition with a score of 38.925.
