On Tuesday, Dec. 19 at approximately 7 p.m. the Hicksville Fire Department, under the command of Chief Robert Lang, responded to a call for an auto accident at the intersection of Jerusalem Avenue and 4th Street. The first unit on the scene reported an overturned auto with all occupants out of the vehicles. A white Ford Explorer hit a black Chevrolet Suburban, causing the Suburban to overturn. One person was treated at the scene in ambulance #9322 but refused further medical attention. No other injuries were reported. Photo by Cathy Greenfield
On Friday, Dec. 22, the Hicksville Fire Department received a call for an overturned auto on Jerusalem Avenue at 6th Street. This is the second overturned accident on Jerusalem Avenue in a one-week period. This single car accident involved a dark blue Subaru SUV. The driver, a young male, was injured and treated at the scene, which was under the command of Chief Robert Lang. Photo by Steve Greenfield
