The results of Election Day 2006 are as follows:
In the 3rd Congressional District, incumbent Republican Peter King defeated Democrat Dave Mejias. King received 76,488 votes while Mejias received 61,228.
In the 5th Senate District, incumbent Republican Carl Marcellino defeated Democrat Leslie Bielanski. Marcellino received 25,887 votes and Bielanski received 19,170.
In the 6th Senate District, incumbent Republican Kemp Hannon defeated Democrat Caslida Roper-Simpson. Hannon received 40,042 votes while Roper-Simpson received 28,661.
In the 7th Senate District incumbent Republican Michael Balboni defeated Democrat Joseph Hand. Balboni received 42,198 votes and Hand received 30,768.
In the 13th Assembly District, Democrat incumbent Charles Lavine defeated Republican Steve Gonzalez. Lavine received 23,122 votes and Gonzalez received 12,043.
In the 15th Assembly District, incumbent Republican Rob Walker defeated Democrat Matthew Pangburn. Walker received 18,408 votes and Pangburn received 12,749.
