The Hicksville Unit of the Nassau County Police Activity League (PAL) will hold registration on Monday, Sept. 25 and Wednesday Sept. 27 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 30 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the PAL office trailer.

Registration for the following sports will take place at this time:

Ages 6-12 Boys/Girls (mixed teams): Ages 8 to 14 Boys/Girls: Ages 8-18 Boys/Girls: Ages 9-18

Boys/Girls: Ages 5 to 8

* Lacrosse equipment will be available to borrow; boys must have their own sticks

Boys: 3rd through 6th grade (during 2006-2007 school year)

Boys: 7th and 8th grade (for those not eligible to play in public school)

Girls: 3rd through 6th grade (during 2006-2007 school year)

** All lacrosse registrants must being a copy of their birth certificate to registration. In addition, PAL will no longer issue personal lacrosse equipment.

Ages 6 to 14 Ages 6 to 14

Boys/Girls: Ages 4 to 18

*** Winter League begins September 2006 at Plainview Bowl; Summer League begins June 2007 at Plainview Bowl; register at Plainview Bowl, Old Bethpage Road and Old Country Road in Plainview, 433-9595.

A parent/guardian must be present at registration. Participation is stressed and trophies will be awarded to all participants. The PAL Office Trailer is located in the west parking field of KeySpan Energy (entrance gate off Old Country Road opposite Park Avenue in Hicksville.)
