Assemblyman Rob Walker (R,C-Hicksville) and Oyster Bay Councilwoman Rose Walker officially started the Central Nassau Guidance and Counseling Services 5K Runday, a road race held in Hicksville over the Memorial Day weekend that attracted approximately 400 runners and spectators. All event proceeds are donated to the volunteer, nonprofit organization that offers a comprehensive network of community-based services for people diagnosed with psychiatric disabilities, substance abuse dependencies and other mental health concerns. Central Nassau Guidance and Counseling Services is located at 950 South Oyster Bay Road, Hicksville.
