Mildred A. Costello (nee Dwyer), of Jericho, died May 16, 2006. A lifelong resident of Hicksville, she was born on the Dwyer Potato Farm. Wife of the late Thomas. Mother of Maryanne Sprague (John), Thomas (Diane), Jean Geneva (Salvatore), Nancy Vetrano (Salvatore), Susanne Lindley (David) and Linda Mullman (Kevin). Sister of Harold Dwyer (Alice). Grandmother of Kelly (Todd), John, Nicole, Lauren, Thomas, Joseph, Michael, Christopher, Dianna, Katie, Marissa, David, Sal, Tom, Kevin, Samantha and Matthew. Sister-in-law of Evelyn and Helen Dwyer, Anna Marie Adams and Daniel and Marge Costello. Aunt of many nieces and nephews. Millie's love was for her family, friends and St. Paul the Apostle Church where she was an active parish member. She was involved in children's religious education, a member of the Marion Guild and Senior Club at St. Paul's. The family was cared for by the Thomas F. Dalton Funeral Home, Hicksville Chapel. Mass at St. Paul the Apostle RC Church. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery.
