The Reckson LI Marathon/Half Marathon will take to the streets of Nassau County on May 7. The event, the 15th largest half marathon and 75th largest race in the United States, will begin at 8 a.m. on Charles Lindbergh Boulevard, across from the Nassau Coliseum, and head west passing Nassau County's "Museum Row," the Mitchel Athletic Complex and Reckson's Omni Building, before heading north to embark on a journey through Westbury. On April 7, Shin's Tae Kwon Do in Hicksville hosted its Second Annual Black Belt Extravaganza. Proceeds from the event, which took place at Levittown Hall, went to the St. Ignatius Human Resource Community Outreach program to assist Hicksville's less fortunate. FULL STORY
